In February 2022 God willing we will begin our second phase of construction. We will begin the site layout and construction of our retaining walls and drainage systems, and all our foundational footers and walls. Additionally, we are hoping to construct a temporary greenhouse in which we can begin horticulture classes. One of our plans is to teach folks how to grow and harvest their own food. In Guatemala you can grow year round, so we can use the greenhouse to continually start plants to give to the families for their gardens.
Below is our master site plan for our Center of Dreams. The main center has over 12,000 square feet of usable space on two levels, as you can see from the photo rendering above. The first floor will have multiple clinics in the front, warehouse and classroom space in the back. The second floor will have a mission home, commercial kitchen, and additional open areas for various uses.
One of the goals with this center is to inspire young minds to dream big, older ones to maybe catch a new spark and a new dream, giving a hand up in a time of need. I firmly believe that you can end poverty by renewing minds. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Satan wants us to believe we are powerless, and that there is no hope. I can testify that is a lie! There is hope in the name of Jesus! There is transformation in the name of Jesus! We can end diseases and heal the sick in the name of Jesus! And that is what we have done and continue to do, in the powerful name of JESUS!
