I always say, “We are blessed, to be a blessing”. This year a very generous benefactor has tremendously blessed our little ministry, helping us make a huge difference in Guatemala (more on this in the next post). Each year we try and set back a small fund of around $5000 to bring a little something to the families we work with for a Christmas Blessing!

This year our funds were a little short, but as always, God is right on time when we received another large donation to “wrap up” this blessing! Our team started working last week to purchase and prepare these blessing baskets. In addition, each family was given bags of corn, rice, beans, and a chicken. And of course through our Christmas Shoes Project, every child received a new pair of shoes.

Although we were not there physically, we were there in spirit and live video with our team as they blessed the families in La Linea where we work. It is such a blessing to have a great team in Guatemala. I always tell folks we receive the greater blessing when we do stuff like this. Although we are currently in Virginia, we felt the love from the families as we spoke with a few. I also want to thank our Lake Country Internet clients here in the USA, and our GuatSat Communications clients in Guatemala who also help make this possible. Together we are one big family!
