Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing love and compassion to the poor and needy in Guatemala. Jesus was fully God in the flesh yet He humbled Himself as a man and showed us how to have compassion. [flagallery gid=7]
His Hands International has helped countless children and families in Guatemala since formed in 2006. We are a small and simple ministry. We work with one child, one family, one village at a time. We take what God has blessed us with, large or small and use it to His glory. We have placed countless pairs of shoes on needy children’s feet. We have provided funds to renovate classroom space for a church. We have provided vitamins, medicine, food, clothing, back packs, school supplies, and so much more. We also on many occasions have helped buy school uniforms and pay for books and tuition for some children. Most importantly we show these children love and compassion by our actions. They know that we genuinely love and care for them despite their situation.
God continues to open new doors of opportunities for us to serve and proclaim His name in Guatemala. We have teamed up with our dear friends at Radio/TV Redención in Gualan, Zacapa to help one of the poorest communities in Gualan. Since forming this partnership July 2015, we have started a weekly church service where we have seen many come to Christ and lives changed. David met with his friend and Mayor of Gualan, Alfredo Ortego, and committed to serving this poor community any way he could. And in August 2016, David made good on his word and provided clean water to the village of over 500 by repairing and upgrading a broken well.
Please take some time and read the stories on our site. See the lives we have already touched in Jesus name. And then pray for us. We need lots of prayer as we take this giant leap of faith. Personally, I do not know where the money is going to come from to fund this project. But I do know beyond a shadow of a doubt that HE WILL provide. Philippians 4:19 I just have to be obedient and take that step forward with the vision He has given. Philippians 4:13!
