Projects/Budgets/Finances/Legal

We are able to do amazing things because of our donors.  We operate on a shoestring budget.  The Founder, David R Varner takes no salary from this ministry and pays his own travel costs to Guatemala and is dedicated to 100% accountability.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to see our current financial statement of how funds are used.

As a faith-based organization, we truly rely on the Holy Spirit to speak to folks about how they can help with different projects. Below you may find from time-to-time various upcoming campaigns and proposed budgets for various projects.

January 2025 Financial Statement

Since we are growing rapidly, we want to publish our financial reports so you can see how we are using funds. We are just a small ministry, but God is allowing us to do great things, with so little. We had on average for the month of January 80 children coming to the Center of Dreams three times a week for a meal and a VBS type program. That equates to 13 days of food for a total of 1040 meals, broken down it cost us around $3.32 per meal, not factoring in gas, labor, and other overhead costs.

Our medical clinic saw more than 10 patients a day, for a total of 22 days this month which equates to over 220 patients. Also, part of our medical care is our nutrition program which has given out several hundred pounds of Chispuditos.

We had poured 2 foundations for our new medical clinic also in January, which was an extra expense with additional material and labor to help.

We also lost a well in our village due to contaminated water entering the well and had to replace nearly a mile of water lines, an expense that was also not in our budget.

We ended January with a deficit of over $5600. We are praying that the Lord will help us make this up in February and help us continue providing the level of support we have been for this community.

February 2025 Financial Statement

The beginning of the year and first quarter is always hard for us as general giving is down. Praise God we have had some new folks join in giving towards our well fund and I am pleased to report that the new well and water project has been fully funded. Those funds came in over the course of Jan-March and are set aside which for some reason has thrown our balance sheet off this month, showing a loss of $-5069.72. But we ended the month of February with a balance in our bank account of $1887.40.

As we continue to move forward in faith with the vision God has given for the new medical center and Willow’s Place Youth Center, the Lord continues to provide for our needs. As of this post we only need to raise around $4000 more to put the roof on the building. Once the roof is on, we can begin to finish the inside space out.

God continues to use us too not only feed bellies, heal the sick, comfort the hurting, and be the hands and feet of Jesus, but we are seeing children learning to pray, learning Bible stories, and now starting to learn scripture. We are giving these children hope for a better future, and hope in a Savior! We truly appreciate your support!
