Spotlighting Jesus: Building Our New Center

Excitement is building as we have recently started our final phase of our new medical and youth center. Once again what was once a vision and idea has become reality, God is so good! I always tell folks when I am blessed to speak and share out ministry, we need to listen for that still small voice of the Holy Spirit. Then act and step out in faith when you hear Him. That is when He takes over and does incredible things and provides in unexpected ways. Then make sure to give Jesus Christ our LORD the glory, and that is what we always try and do. We do not want the spotlight but want to put the spotlight on Jesus. As you scroll through the God sized stories on our website, I hope you see that common thread and theme. It’s all about HIM!

This final phase of construction will house our bio-medical lab, imaging center, and dental office. It will also contain a small surgery center and mechanical room on the first floor. The second floor will have a commercial kitchen, storage, bathrooms, and ministry offices. This will allow us to become a full-service medical facility in the future. Giving us the opportunity to offer our facilities to other ministries. Visiting medical mission teams can use them to carry out small surgeries like cleft palate reconstruction and the likes.

The final phase of construction is nearing completion at which time we will also have some large expenses. These will be necessary to finish the interior. Only then can we start using this space for His glory. Our goal is to have everything finished by May 15, 2025. In the coming weeks, we will be posting the final items and costs of each on our website. For example, we will need a large commercial gas stove and oven. We also need a commercial ventilation system for the kitchen. Additionally, we need stainless steel prep tables, more tables and chairs, and more dishes. Pots, pans, utensils, etc., are also necessary just for the kitchen. Air conditioning and ventilation for the entire building. Windows, doors, interior walls and doors, security bars and doors for the exterior first floor windows. We will be putting an epoxy coating on the floors which is expensive but recommended. There are many small needs like toilets, sinks, hand washing stations, grab bars, cabinets, security and technology. People generally don’t consider these added costs to construction.

One thing I know for sure, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6 and “..MY GOD shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19. We have placed an Earthly goal of May 15th to have this project completed. However, sometimes our timelines are not God’s timelines. I am confident because God has started this “good work” in us, He will supply every need. This project will be completed, pointing others towards HIM. This will continue until the day Jesus Christ returns for us. We sure would appreciate your prayers and monthly financial support. Please click the Donation Information tab to find ways to give.
